Goldenseal Cultivation Workshop

Join us September 20th from noon to 4 pm for a dive into the woodland world of goldenseal. I love this plant and find great delight in cultivating her and witnessing the birds and ants disperse her seeds in the understory here at Mountain Jewel. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned in the past decade of relating with this gem of a plant! We will track successful site conditions through embodied observation (the best way to learn- books only take us so far), practice honorable root digging and planting, and you’ll get some rhizomes to take home to start your own patch. This workshop will equip you to Begin your relationship with goldenseal in beauty, love and respect! It is a good path to cultivate this once near endangered native understory medicinal.
